Another hot week in the books 🔥—literally and figuratively.

In West Chester, we’ve been working on installing an InsideOut under-deck drainage system. This one came with a twist: we’re fixing what another contractor didn’t quite get right. A lot of critical flashing details were missed the first time around, so we tore everything out and started fresh. We’ve been dialing in the prep work, adding new PVC post wraps with base and crown details that integrate perfectly with the new flashing. Panels go up next—should be looking sharp by next week.

Meanwhile, over in Douglassville, we topcoated a blacktop driveway for one of our favorite long-time customers. The heat made for a rough workday, but those high temps really help the topcoat bond to the milled surface. Brutal for the crew—great for the asphalt.

We're midway through a deck drainage upgrade this week, and the transformation is already taking shape. 💧🔨

We're installing the Quality Edge InsideOut® Underdecking System, which turns the space below the deck into a dry, functional area — perfect for storage, shade, or just keeping things clean and dry. This aluminum system not only performs well but looks great too, with a finished ceiling appearance that complements the outdoor space.

This week, the Marvel Builders crew was out and about!

🔨 In Phoenixville, we tackled some wind-damaged fascia, patched up woodpecker damage on a PVC circle-top trim we installed a few years back, and gave a weathered gable vent a fresh coat of paint while the scaffolding was up.

🪵 Down in Geigertown, we wrapped up a clean LVP floor install—big shoutout to the homeowner who’s handling all the trim work himself. Love seeing folks take pride in their homes!

🌞 Over in Douglassville, we kicked off a deck refresh that’s getting a full upgrade with Trex Ropeswing decking, sleek black railings, and matching black rim boards. We’re also rebuilding the failing stairs to ensure they’re safe, sturdy, and sharp looking.

Always great to be working on a variety of projects with great people.

This past week was all about the details! At the log cabin job, we installed a custom site-built door complete with hand-forged strap hinges and latch hardware from Connecticut—designed to match the original house hardware perfectly. We also set a new entry door at the basement cellar way to button things up. Meanwhile in Telford, we wrapped up trims and paint and are now just waiting on the new countertops and backsplash to finish the job off right. Always moving forward!

🏡 Marvel Builders Weekly Update 🛠️

We’ve been putting in the work at two very different—but equally awesome—projects this week!

Down at the Malvern Cabin, we’re continuing the bathroom transformation and closing in the stairwell to boost safety and aesthetics. Rough plumbing is wrapped up, which means the shower install is moving forward. We also trimmed out the bathroom to conceal the mechanicals and got that log sanded, stained, and installed—one of our favorite features so far! We’ve started building the custom door too, and we’re especially excited to reveal the hand-forged hinges and hardware coming in from Connecticut 🔥

Meanwhile, up in Telford, it’s all about the kitchen and living room facelift. We finished up drywall work, knocked out the countertop and backsplash demo, and are prepping the space for final paint. Countertops are on order and we’re ready to make this place shine.

Always thankful for the opportunity to build well—and for the clients who trust us to do it. More to come!

It’s been a productive week for the crew at Marvel Builders!

✅ In Pottstown, we wrapped up the exterior remodel with a full install of DiamondKote siding—and it came out looking sharp. A clean, crisp finish that’s going to last for decades.

🏡 Down in Malvern, we’re continuing our work on the log cabin bathroom remodel and stairwell enclosure. This week we’re prepping a solid log that will be installed as a corner post—a unique touch that will add some rustic charm to the space.

🧰 And up in Telford, we kicked off a kitchen refresh and living room facelift. New countertops and backsplash are on deck, along with a new pass-through between the kitchen and living room. Fresh paint throughout will tie it all together.

Marvel Builders Weekly Update 🪵🔨

This week, we continued work in Pottstown, installing some beautiful prefinished 3/4" hickory flooring. The natural grain and durability of this wood make it a showstopper! We also got a head start on prepping and custom-staining the trim moldings that will be going up next week. Steady progress on this one — and before long, we'll be packing up and heading to the next project!

This week in Pottstown was all about finishing strong and prepping for what’s next 💪

✅ We wrapped up the Trex Deck and finished the EP Henry patio at one of our projects, giving that backyard a serious upgrade.
🚪 Installed a new patio door on the same property to tie it all together, and we're now getting ready for hardwood floor install inside.
🌱 Over on the other side of town, we came back to a recent concrete patio project to finish things off with topsoil, seed, and straw — bringing the green back to the scene!

Loving the spring vibes and the momentum our team is carrying into these next phases. Onward!

🌿 This week at Marvel Builders, we kept things rolling in Pottstown! Our deck project is coming together nicely with continued progress on Trex decking and railings. Over at the Pottstown Garage remodel, we hung drywall and started to see the space really take shape. With the weather finally starting to feel a bit more like spring, we’re soaking up the sunshine and making the most of every workday! 🌞🛠️

This week we kicked off a deck expansion, getting everything prepped for new Trex decking and rail installation—can’t wait to see this one come together!

Over in Pottstown, we’ve been making moves on two fronts:
✔️ Garage remodel – floor is poured and curing nicely
✔️ Patio project – concrete is in and looking sharp

There’s always something going on around here, and this time of year adds a little extra challenge (and fun) dodging spring raindrops and those surprise temperature dips. Gotta love it!
